Officially eating my words.
What on earth is the government doing??
All over the papers yesterday it stated that pubs and clubs were now closing at an earlier time, now our generation are used to going out at 10/11 lets face it thats when everything starts getting going. But we are in for the long haul many of us dont come home until 5 in the morning ... probably later.
But now according to a new government legislation to be passed last orders at pubs will be 11pm, on all nights, which means everyone will end up being shipped out at 11:30pm.
And the nightclubs will now close (at the latest) 2am. This may not be an issue for some
people but its really annoyed me and quite a few others.
Apparently violence has increased according to police reports and the pubs and clubs arent really benefiting from the late closures.
Not only this but drinks promotions are also going to be stopped.
Which means no more 75p drinks in Assembly anymore, they are completely taking the biscuit !!
What are students on a low budget supposed to do now ?? Its going to be like a saturday night every night .... expensive and now everywhere will be closing early.
Oh the joy ... The Toffs need to leave it alone !!
