St. George's Day

HAPPY ST.GEORGE'S DAY !!

Today is the day to be ENGLISH. We only get one day a year to celebrate all that is English and I believe people should celebrate it. Its not racist Its simply patriotic.

According to legend our patron saint, died on the 23rd of April. He is remembered for being a soldier in the Roman army, slaying a dragon and saving the princess.

I find it quite outrageous how England dont really celebrate as much as other countries celebrate their patron saints. In actual fact many people dont even remember the day !!

So, enough is enough, Its time to go out there
with your English flag, and be proud.

The New Doctor...

Attention all Doctor Who fans today is the day where we all find out what Matt Smith has to offer as the new Doctor.

Personally, I dont think anyone can top top the spectacular David Tennant. Maybe I'm biased because i found him very attractive as the Doctor but then again his acting was superb.

We saw his character change throughout really showing the different emotions the Doctor had. Anger, Despair, Love and along with the comedy element it could be watched by many ages.
The storylines were amazing of course thanks the the brilliant script by Russell T. Davies.

It may sound harsh but Christopher Eccleston who played the Doctor before David Tennant (in my opinion) was dreadful, a complete cocky attitude surrounded him, yes this may have been his version of the Doctor but it was rubbish.

It was the first time i had watched Doctor Who and the viewing was diabolical.
That's why i thought i would give it a go when David Tennant played the role and i loved it.
I felt quite pathetic when i found myself in tears when he left the show in that powerful ending, and i was quite persistant that i would not be witnessing the new Doctor's arrival.

But i guess it is worth giving it a go... :)
